Terms of Service

Last updated: May 18, 2026

1. Agreement

By accessing or using CrispInvoice ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

CrispInvoice provides online tools to create, manage, and export invoices, including client and company management, templates, and PDF export. Features may change over time. We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@crispinvoice.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to send fraudulent invoices
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the Service
  • Upload malicious code or infringe others' intellectual property
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans, if offered, are billed through our payment provider (Stripe). Fees are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy at the time of purchase. You may manage billing through your account settings or the customer portal.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of invoices, client data, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of invoices you issue to your clients.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, templates, and branding, is owned by CrispInvoice and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or proprietary materials except as needed to use the Service.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. Consult a qualified professional for compliance with invoicing and tax laws in your jurisdiction.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrispInvoice and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you have not paid fees.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by nature should survive will remain in effect.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
